Central Catholic High School, 2017-presentLawrence, Massachusetts
CCHS has quickly become my new home. As a private Catholic High School student myself, the environment is very familiar to me, and I love it! My students come from all different backgrounds with varied appreciations for art. I currently teach Introduction to Visual Art, Sculpture, and Drawing & Painting. I enjoy having mixed grade levels each day because it allows me to work with students who have very different artistic abilities and interests.

Alvirne High School, 2016-2017Hudson, New Hampshire
Alvirne High School took a chance on me as a brand new teacher, and I am incredibly grateful they did! It was exciting for me to experience art in a public high school setting, as I attended private Catholic schools all my life. I taught 2D Studio, 3D Studio, and Advanced Drawing classes. My fondest memories are from my 3D Studio classes where I could take a break from drawing and painting and watch kids express themselves three-dimensionally. It's messy, but so fun! I was sad to leave Alvrine, but my year there educated me in new ways and led me to another great opportunity.

Tufts University & The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 2016M. A. T. in Art Education (certified NH & MA, Grades K-12)
In May 2016 I graduated from Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Best decision of my life! While at Tufts, I completed two student-teaching internships: one with the MFA's Children's Studio Art program, and the other at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA. Both of these experiences strongly confirmed that I love the high school age group. Burlington High School's Art Department is the reason my first few years of teaching have been so successful!

Salve Regina University, 2015B. A. in Studio Art, minor in Art History
In May 2015 I graduated magna cum laude from Salve Regina University, easily one of the most beautiful colleges in our country. Needless to say it was always easy to find artistic inspiration in such a historic place. I majored in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting and a minor in Art History. My love for Art History came from my all-time favorite course titled Newport Through Its Architecture. We literally drove around Newport in a van and got to tour world-famous buildings! One of my professional goals is to teach an Art History course at the high school level someday. Most students find it boring, but I think if I can introduce it to art students at a younger age they might become interested. My love for Art History really influenced my own artwork and love for art as I have aged.
